Open Control Panel through Start menu or Windows search.
Go to Network and Internet category and then to Network and Sharing Center.
On the left side of the screen find Change adapter settings and click on it.
Select your active connection, right-click on it and choose Properties.
Find Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP) in the list, select it and then click on Properties again.
Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the IP addresses of the two DNS servers nearest to you:

Back in the list, find Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the IP addresses of the two DNS servers nearest to you:

fe80::220:4aff:fec7:9f54
Press OK twice to close the settings and you’re done!
Select the first connection in your list and click Advanced.
Select the DNS tab, remove all addresses (if any), and add the IP addresses of the DNS servers nearest to you:

Click OK then click Apply.

Go to Settings → Network & internet → Advanced → Private DNS.
Tap Private DNS provider hostname.
Enter the hostname of the DNS server nearest to you and hit Save:

us-east.teradns.org

Choose Wi-Fi in the left menu (it's not possible to configure DNS for mobile networks).
Tap on the name of the currently active network.
In the DNS field enter the IP addresses of the DNS servers nearest to you:

Open the preferences for your router. Usually you can access it from your browser via a URL (like http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.1.1/). You may be asked to enter the password. If you don't remember it, you can often reset the password by pressing a button on the router itself. Some routers have a specific application which should be already installed on your computer in that case.
Find the DNS settings. Look for the DNS letters next to a field which allows two or three sets of numbers, each broken into four groups of one to three numbers.
Enter the IP addresses of the DNS servers nearest to you:

Scroll down to the Network Settings section and click on Settings.
Scroll down and check Enable DNS over HTTPS.
Select Custom and enter the hostname of the DNS server nearest to you:
